Choose your trip in Argentina

How to choose your circuit in Argentina?

Choosing a circuit in Argentina depends first on available time and the regions you wish to combine. A trip of 10 to 14 days allows you to discover Buenos Aires and southern Patagonia (El Calafate, El Chaltén, sometimes Ushuaia), or Buenos Aires combined with the northwest (Salta, Quebrada de Humahuaca, Cafayate). To explore the country more widely, plan for 15 to 20 days to add Mendoza, Península Valdés or the lake region around Bariloche. Beyond 21 days, you can consider Iguazu Falls in the north and a complete trek in Fitz Roy.

Different types of circuits

Our cultural circuits focus on Buenos Aires, estancias on the pampas, tango, Mendoza vineyards and Andean villages in the northwest. Adventure itineraries emphasize trekking around Fitz Roy, navigation on Upsala glacier, climbing in Mendoza or the Patagonian Route 40. For family travel, we recommend Península Valdés (whales, penguins, marine wildlife), the lake region and estancias with horseback riding, adjusting distances and pace to suit children.

What is the best season?

Argentina is in the southern hemisphere, and austral summer runs from December to March. Patagonia is visited from October to April, with peak season in December-February (temperatures of 10 to 20°C, notable winds). The northwest (Salta, Jujuy) is pleasant from April to November, the dry season, with warm days and cool nights at altitude. Mendoza is splendid from October to April, with grape harvest in March. For a circuit combining several regions, October-November and March-April offer the best climate compromises.
