Day trip to Recoleta and Palermo – The elegance and creativity of Buenos Aires (10am to 4pm)
The day begins in the streets of Recoleta, a neighborhood where European elegance is reflected in the architecture and atmosphere. You step through the doors of the Recoleta Cemetery and walk between its sculpted mausoleums, where several Argentine personalities rest, including Eva Perón. A place that tells in its own way part of the country's history.
You then head to the Basilica Nuestra Señora del Pilar, with its white colonial-inspired façade, and enjoy a stroll through the surrounding gardens. You also stop for a drink on the terrace at Café La Biela, a Buenos Aires institution where writers and artists once gathered.
Late morning brings a change of atmosphere with Palermo, more bohemian and contemporary. You head to Palermo Soho for lunch, with the choice between traditional parrillas and design restaurants with fusion cuisine.
The afternoon continues on foot through the streets of Palermo Soho. You take time to discover this neighborhood focused on independent fashion, street art and vintage décor. Colorful murals, artisanal boutiques and cafés line your walk.
